CREATORS/HOSTS
John Peyton - John’s experience
as a recording artist,
and his career in radio brings the blend of talent and radio experience
to create and produce successful syndicated radio programming. John
is a United States Air Force Veteran having served with
US NATO Forces Europe where he performed
regularly with his band throughout Germany,
Italy, Holland
and the UK.
After serving in the Armed Forces, John resumed performing
and writing music extensively in the United States with his late brother
David Peyton. In his 20s, John worked
with Gulf Coast Sound &
Lighting renting music equipment to touring acts as
Loretta Lynn, Kris Kristofferson and John Lee Hooker. John was then
hired as Sound and Lighting Director for Magic Island for several years for stage shows for the young magicians,
now master magicians, as Lance Burton, Valentino
The Masked Magician, as well as Harry Blackstone Jr., Frank Sinatra Jr. and his favorite Johnny Thompson aka The Great Tomsoni and Whit "Pop" Haydn, Certifiable Genius. John then returned to the University
of Texas at Austin where he majored in advertising and studied Japanese.
John began his career in radio, restructuring the underwriting and
promotions department of a popular non-commercial radio station
in Austin Texas. John was then sought out to work for former President
Lyndon B. Johnson's family at their KLBJ AM & FM stations (now Emmis Communications) for many years. John has an extensive
background in advertising, media sales and promotions and has worked
in both print and radio with advertising agencies, record labels
and national clients. John has written many of the national commercials
that air on the worldwide syndicated Jagger Peyton radio shows. John also created and voices two very popular syndicated radio characters.
One being a worldwide spokesman for John Paul Mitchell Systems, Inc. and The Patron Spirits Company product brands.
John also created and voices "Luther Tuckerr" for KRNH "The Ranch"
92.3 FM in Kerrville Texas
for the Daybreak Show with Ed Chandler. John Peyton is considered
by his peers in the music industry to be a Harmonica
Virtuoso. John's most recent performances were with Marcia Gay Harden at her commencement
speech for the The
University of Texas 2010 graduates where John played a scorching
harmonica riff for over 30,000 UT students. But
more specifically played for one student, his eldest daughter Candace
who received her Masters Degree. John also performed at the
Texas Film Hall of Fame Awards as well as performed
in New York City in Times Square in
2009 for Leaves of Change on NASDAQ, broadcasting live
to millions. John plays Hohner
Harmonicas exclusively. John recently celebrated his 25th Anniversary and has four beautiful
children. More on John Peyton

Chris Jagger - Chris’s
career, unlike his brother Mick Jagger's has
spanned many fields in the artistic spectrum, from clothes design for
Jimi Hendrix and
John Lennon to
theatre and journalism. He has appeared in repertory at The Citizen’s Theatre in Glasgow (his
first play there was with one Pierce
Brosnan), Nottingham Playhouse and
the ICA in London as
well as in TV and film. He has written for various
magazines and newspapers including The
Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, the Mail on Sunday and Rolling Stone. His
first records were made during the 1970’s for David Geffen of Asylum Records in Los
Angeles and he toured the USA
and the UK.
He revitalized his song writing in the late 1980’s when he worked
in France as lyricist for producer Franck Langolf
[Vanessa Paradis] and helped brother Mick out on the Stones acclaimed albums “Dirty Work” and then later “Steel Wheels.” Chris decided to then
concentrate on his own material and the result was the critically
acclaimed Sequel C.D. ‘Atcha!’ in 1994, a mix of Cajun style with Chris’s individual brand of
song writing. Acclaimed and respected music critic Tony Parsons in the Telegraph compared his lyrics to those
of the famed Sammy Cahn. Contributions
came from Dave Gilmour
(Pink Floyd) and Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) on ‘Lhasa
Town, Leo
Sayer and a touch of brother
Mick on ‘Stand Up for The Foot.’ This
record was later released in the US by Curb Records as ‘Rock the Zydeco’ where Chris and his
band promoted the record on the Conan
O’Brien Show for NBC. Additionally
he arranged the music for the Bosnian charity concert – “Bop for Bosnia” -at the BBC in Studio One with
Dave Stewart and
Dave Gilmour and two subsequent concerts
for Tibet in
Battersea Park and Alexandria Park in North London. In 1996 Chris recorded an
acoustic album, ‘From Lhasa to Lewisham’ with
associates Ben Waters and
Charlie Hart and
there followed ‘Channel Fever’ with
the Atcha! Band. ‘Act of Faith’ which was released in 2005
on the Hannover-based label SPV, has
also brought Chris and his music to a wider audience in Europe,
Australia, Japan and Canada where he appeared at the Montreal Jazz Festival in
2007. Besides writing and touring Europe
with his band, Chris has recently written and presented a three
part series for BBC Radio on Alexis Korner, the pioneering blues musician
and broadcaster. More
